One of my favorite ways to find inspiration for projects is to simply look at different color schemes. I find that by choosing a particular color palette (in this case a beautiful range of pinks and corals) I can also determine the direction that my projects will take. The really fun thing is when I discover that I can create many different looks using that same color scheme.

Advanced Project

by Jennifer Davis

For these projects, I took my personal challenge one step further by using scrapbooking supplies all by the same collection and the same color, yet ended up with three completely different projects. Each project has a definite feeling that is all its own. One project is a layout about my relationship with my husband, which is sometimes “messy” but sweet and how we are continually learning as well as enjoying our life together.

You Are a Child of the Universe

Intermediate Project

by Jennifer Davis

Another I created of my daughter and conveys a special wish that I have for her in the form of a quote which I felt fit perfectly. The last project is a card and feels almost rich and perhaps a bit foreign, but conveys a warm message to be sent off to an awaiting friend or loved one. I hope that you enjoy creating them as much as I did!

Beginner Project

Jennifer resides in a small Northern Wisconsin town along with her husband Ethan and their daughter Zoey. She first discovered the world of scrapbooking (as it is today) when she visited a scrapbook store while planning her wedding in 2003 and since the birth of their daughter a little over a year later, she was completely in love with all that this craft had to offer.

She has since become active in several on line communities that support this wonderful craft and form of self expression and has made several friends that share similar interests. She has had the honor of having had layouts published in publications such as Simple Scrapbooks, Memory Makers Magazine and Scrapbooks, Etc. and has been published in Memory Maker's latest idea book 601 Scrapbooking Ideas. She is a design team member for Creative Imaginations, the moderator and a design team member for My Kits & Pieces and also works part-time at her local scrapbook store teaching classes.
