The article turned out sooooo cute! Little Anna is just KILLING me… she is so
darn CUTE! I just had her on my lap and shared the article with her… even my
18-year-old (who just got here for a visit) immediately started calling her
friends telling them that her sister’s article has been published and giving
them the link! Anna said, “It’s Me, Mama…look…it’s ME!!! She said she loved it
so much she tried kissing the computer screen!
I’m already getting a bunch of hits on my blog from Scrapbooking.com… many of
them from Canada, oddly enough. I’ll be linking up the articles in just a bit on
my blog… thank you for the permission to do that!

Editors: Our first edition of
Crafting with Kids was a
huge hit. We were delighted to get this letter from the young artist’s family!
I just read the article about “Scrapping
With Cancer.” What an amazing and inspirational story. We have a family
friend whose 5-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia about 3
years ago. This condition is an immediate and complete destruction of the bone
marrow. Only a perfect bone marrow match and successful transplant can save the
patient’s life. Little Michelle and her Mom left Dad and 2-year-old brother at
home in California to move into the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee to wait
for a donor, go through the surgery, then the wait to see if her little body
would accept the new marrow and all of the tons of side issues that came up.
They were there for about 9 months and are some of the strongest people I know.
Today, Michelle is back to normal, but I will never forget the bravery she
showed through the whole process! Kids are absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for
sharing that awesome story in the magazine!!!

Editors: These touching stories remind us how important memories and
scrapbooking are to our lives. We try to bring you amazing scrapbook stories.
We’d love to hear more
stories
from our readers. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
When you emailed me that my layout would be used, I emailed a friend I met on
Creating Keepsakes a couple of years ago and we are best of friends. Anyway, I
told her to send some layouts because I know she is a beautiful scrapper...her
name is Brenda Price and you told her to get her layouts ready for August. How
neat is that!!
The great thing is that there are 3 of us from All Moments Remembered who are in
your July issue and then Brenda Price in the August issue, so that’s four of us
from that message board. How cool is that. Everyone on the message board is so
happy for us getting published in Scrapbooking.com!

Editors: How exciting! Scrapbooking is definitely a community hobby and
we’re glad to hear that you and your friends have made it such an important part
of your friendship and lives.
Scrapbooking looks like fun so I plan on learning and making my own soon. I
don't think I have a chance at the prize but I just wanted to tell you that I
like the newsletter and soon will be scrapbooking too. Thanks for the
wonderful
newsletter!

Editors: Starting to scrapbook may seem daunting at first but using
resources like Scrapbooking.com will make the experience easier and much more
fun!
I know you are a scrapbooking e-zine, but it would be nice to have a
cardmaking section too. So many of the materials used in scrapbooking work for
cards too. It lets us share our creativity with others in a different way.
Cardmaking is becoming a big industry and I've noticed that many of the printed
scrapbook magazines have added a section for this genre.
-Alison Anderson
Editors: Thanks, Alison. We now have a regular cardmaking section in every
issue. Hope you enjoy all of the creative ideas!
I recently started scrapbooking and I bought a vellum quote pack. There were no
directions on how to apply these to the scrapbook page. I thought they were rub-ons.
Please advise me the procedure of how to apply these.
-Cynthia Stansbury
Editors: Thank you for contacting us. Vellum can be tricky to apply. Below
are two links for articles we have written discussing how to apply vellum:

OMG, this is awesome. I never win anything....if it wasn't for bad luck I
wouldn't have any luck at all.
I love your newsletters. They keep me updated and informed of all the newest
trends and products in a craft that seems to change daily. Keep up the good
work. Thank you!

Editors: Thank you for entering our contest. It’s awesome to hear that you
find inspiration from the weekly newsletters.
I have just discovered your website and love your articles - they are very
informative. I will scrap lift from your layouts - they are great! Not too busy
and cluttered! THANK YOU!
-Janice Campbell
Editors: Every month we strive to bring readers just like you informative
and inspiring projects. Thanks for the love. And, we don’t mind a scrap lift
here and there either!
