I love using non traditional colors schemes for winter time pages. The green really keeps the page seasonal and the pink gives it a punch of color that highlights the mood of the page. I also tried to keep direction in the page. This was done by starting at the top and creating a visual line that goes across and down to the bottom of the layout.

I love how the photo and the background fade into each other. The blue enhances the black and white photo and background. I also enjoy using strong color schemes to add visual interest to layouts. Here I added yellow journaling in order to have that interest.
