I have an album dedicated only to my dog with quotes about what would he be saying if he could talk, and this layout is part of it. I’ve been photographing him since he was a puppy so he seems to know what to do when he sees me with the camera. This day when I called him to take pictures, he gave me a look saying, “Are you talking to me?” The translation for the journaling is as follows: “This is what Malbec seems to be thinking when I intend to take pictures of him, but he always poses for me anyway.”

I started to be seriously interested on scrapbooking two years ago. This was a great tool to support the fact that I’ve always loved to take pictures of everything… and I mean everything. Since I’m a full time employee, I don’t have the time I would like to dedicate to this hobby but I’m sure scrapbooking came to my life to stay there. I find it relaxing and satisfying - and have also realized how creative I could be. I enjoy doing albums or special projects for my friends and family. My favorite photos to scrap are the ones from ordinary things or everyday normal situations… just life… the way I feel… the things I love… what I do on a Sunday...dreams fulfilled… I also enjoy scrapping photos of my dog, Malbec. He’s like a “son” to me and I have dedicated lots of pages to him. I believe in creativity! I believe scrapbooking is a way to express ourselves and nothing is right or wrong… it’s just unique and every style is different. Unfortunately I still don’t have a blog or a website to show my creations, but this recognition of winning this contest will certainly motivate me to create one very soon and share with others. Thank you Scrapbooking.com magazine!
