Hi everyone @scrapbookingcom!

Have you ever imagined doing scrapbooking while on plane? Since I spend most of my time traveling all over the world, I have developed many tips on how to scrap on plane and I would like to share them with you guys!

Here it is… first this is what you need to carry: 1. Photos
2. Adhesive tape, tape runner, glue dots, glue stick or any adhesive of your choice – remember no bottles over 3 oz if you want to pass security
3. Patterned paper & cardstock
4. Fun embellishments-rhinestones, ribbon, flowers, buttons, letter stickers etc…
5. An acid free pen to write your thoughts or comments.

My tips & tricks:
1) Plan ahead the type of layouts you would like to create. (have a topic/page title in mind)
2) Gather the items necessary to create layouts and start by choosing photos and coordinating papers that you need to complete each one.
3) Make sure you cut your photos before you go since no scissors or sharp tools can be taken on the plane.
4) Organize everything by putting together your photos with the papers and embellishments for each page, keeping everything together for each one in large Ziploc bags. You can fit many of these in a carry-on standing upright, ideally inside a scrapbook album to make sure the papers don’t get creased. Or you can try using cardboard to keep them protected.

Now everything you need is on hand, organized in one place without having to dig through your carry-on. One bag at the time, pull out your supplies, lay them out on the tray table starting with the background paper and arrange your photos and embellishments until you have a design and placement desired. Finally, using adhesives secure each item in place and add your journaling.

I hope these tips are helpful and will give you the idea for something fun to do the next time you plan to be in air! It definitely makes the time fly by and by the time you land you’ll have a really fun creation!

Now you’re ready to scrapbook like a true jet-setter!

Love Always,
