When doing a family layout, sometimes I want to do a few pictures with a story, and other times the picture does all the telling for me! For example in the layout titled, "4 Generations," I had a great black and white picture of my Grandpa with my son. It really didn't have a story, but it was an important picture because someday my son will ask about his Great Grandpa, and he will have a wonderful picture to look back on. Then there are the layouts that have a story, like the one titled "Allison's Day." It is a very simple layout, done in a matter of an hour or so, but it is important to me because it is a day we took together as a family of three right before we came a family of four! I guess this just goes to show you that scrapbooking is all about individuality. Enjoy these layouts.
