A big thanks to all of
our readers who sent in suggestions for
twin layouts!!
I saw a scrapbook page
once that had a silhouette of a pregnant woman (just the outline of
course) and in the tummy was two babies facing each other and the words
were "We were wombmates" and me and my friends thought it was
so cute and clever. Hope this gives an idea. ~Stacey~
My best advice to her is
to make sure she gets double prints and do two books. Make sure you use
the same pictures with both of them. Also don't forget to make special
pages within each album with pertaining to just the individual child
(whose ever album you are working on). This way they can both share
great memories later on but feel like they are special and unique.

I have 13 year old twins
and my daughter often works on her scrapbooks along with me. Since she
is a twin she decided to do some "twin pages". She started out
w/pictures of her and her brother when they were babies and is working
her way up through the years. What is great about it is that the pages
come from her perspective as a twin and not mine as a parent. Now her
brother is getting in on the projects and is working on his pages too. I
know these aren't really layout ideas but they do add another element to
your pages. Hope they help a little. ~AOL Reader~
I scrapbooked several
ideas before all the cute "twins" paper and stickers were out.
One idea:
DOUBLE VISION (was the
topper) Then all the pictures on the page were of the twins together. It
certainly was DOUBLE VISION - they looked exactly alike, and in looking
at the pictures taken in 1971 - you really can't tell which one was
which. We told them apart by the color of their knitted bracelets, so I
made sure I had some close-ups of the bracelets.
TWO BY TWO was another
one I had found some paper with a border down the left of different
three different clip art drawings of Noah's ark with just a sampling of
animals - then next to each ark i placed a picture with both girls in
it. All stickers used on the page were doubles - right next to each
other.
TWINKLE TWINKLE little
stars Again, pictures of both girls with picture cut in shape of stars
and matted. Hope this helps. ~AOL Reader~
Hi, In order to make
individual memories for twins use foot prints hand prints, fingerprints,
snips of hair and handwriting or art work from school. Show each child
with their own friends. Journal as many memories as time allows. Ha.
Good Luck. I just got caught up on 40 years of photos. So just relax and
enjoy them all. ~Marsha~
A friend of mine has
twins and won a Halloween costume contest by dressing the girls up as
packs of Double mint gum - cute pages too! I'm sure it's been mentioned
already
1.Noah's ark theme -
animals in twos
2. Twice as Nice
3. Two for the price of 1
4. Double Vision
5. It takes two to Tango
6. Two-ti Fruitti

Part of the solution for
scrapbooking twins might be in the pictures you take; reflections of the
child(ren) in water, on the oven door, a mirror, or even profile
pictures. The double image is neat to see in a standard photo but can
also be used in mosaic layouts. Another idea is using reflective paper
or aluminum foil in a paper frame to replicate a mirror. ~The Wenrichs~
My brainstorming list for
twins, & two sets of twins:
tea for two, two for tea
seeing double again

Gee... this is tough,
isn't it? ~Kathryn~
