"Page Toppers"

Cockadoodle products are the ultimate in making a page go together fast.
The title or phrase on a layout makes a layout look really great or not
so great. The titles that have been designed by Cockadoodle help make a
layout really great. Plus, the page toppers take out a lot of time spent
on thinking of, designing (and redesigning), and creating the perfect
titles. The page pieces are a great addition to the page toppers. Look
forward to many new page toppers and pieces in the near future. Plus,
many new and innovative products.

Belong at the Zoo
- Cardstock (Making Memories)
- Die cuts (Cock-A-Doodle Design)
- Patterned stationary (unknown)
- Computer font (The Best of
Creative Lettering, Vol. 2, Creating Keepsakes)
- Pen (Micron Pigma, Sakura)
- Panoramic pages (Frances Meyers)
- Lettering template (Pebbles in
My Pocket)
Crop and mount photos on
different shades of brown cardstock. Do computer journaling (CK
Journaling font). Mount on black. Mark the four corners with
dots. Draw little squiggly lines between, joining the dots.
Trace the title letters on the right side of the stationary. (The one I
used had the animals walking around the outside edges. I tried to
get a major part of the animal on the letter. It was a close fit,
and I had to trace one of the letters, an O, on the center part.)
Cut out. Gently erase the pencil marks. Mount on black and
trim around. Do a dot to dot at the points and intersections
of the letters, and use the squiggly lines to connect. Mount title
letters at the top of the page. Mount photos on pages and
embellish with the die cuts. Mark dots on the background cardstock
on the outside of the photos, and connect with the squiggly lines.

Cut a 3” x 11” strip
of the blue gingham. Mount on red cardstock, and then trim down.
Mount photos and title boxes. Using the template, first trace the
outline of the letters in pencil, then use a black writer to trace, then
a brush tip to fill in. I cut down the edge of the Page Pieces to
remove a little of the white edge. I just love these Page Pieces! |

Trim pink patterned paper
¼” off the top and one side. Mount on white cardstock. Trim
Page Topper and mount on light blue patterned paper. Mount photos on
white. Punch two jumbo circles and one jumbo flower out of white.
Punch 1 medium circle and two hearts out of peach. Dot two eyes with
the bullet tip of the black Writer pen, then using chalk and a Q-tip, give
the face rosy cheeks. For the trim on the baby buggy, cut an edge
about 4” long with the scalloped decorative scissors. Using the
Fiskars 12” paper trimmer cut the trim strip off. Cut to fit and
glue down. Mount the white flower behind the baby’s head (for
bonnet), and the curl right in the middle of her forehead. Cut the
points off the two hearts to form the hands, and glue down.
Add the large white circles for the wheels and then top it off with a
little bow. Cut a journaling box and do your journaling.
