Welcome

We're already well into November, one of my favorite months! I love giving thanks and feeling connected to my family and my community. This week, each of us in the United States has an opportunity to show our gratitude for those who sacrifice so much and serve in our military. While it might not be Veteran's Day everywhere, each of us has reason to be thankful for the people in our communities who serve us. Celebrate their willingness to serve and to sacrifice - send a handcrafted card or other token of thanks to someone who has helped you this year.

Happy Crafting!

Giving Service to Our Country
Sophistication By: Michelle Josie

This is the time of year that we reflect upon everything that we have to be thankful for and we focus on giving to others. Whether you have loved ones who are currently serving our country or family and friends that have done so in the past, this is the perfect season to pay tribute to them for their sacrifices and hard work. One way to honor their legacy is to tell their stories in your scrapbooks.

Do you have leftover supplies from the 4th of July or another patriotic holiday? Gather them together and rouse the kids into making Veteran's Day cards for the men and women of the armed services. With so many still in the Middle East, they could use our best wishes during the holidays.

Newsletter Exclusive: Creative Titles - Part 1

While scrapbook pages can certainly exist without them, titles are a classic hallmark of scrapbook layouts. But if you’re growing tired of the same old titles, there are plenty of fun ways to get creative. Join us in our four-part series on creative titles!

What would a novel be without a title? A title makes a statement. A title gives you a glimpse of what is to come. Sometimes a title says it all. But if your scrapbook page titles are beginning to all look the same, it may be time to get creative.
