January 2000 Long Beach Scrapbooking Expo

     The Scrapbooking.com staff attended the Long Beach Expo on January 7-8, 2000 at the Long Beach Convention Center. The first scrapbooking convention of the new millennium saw scrapbookers that were anxious to get back to the business of working on their scrapbooks. 

     Shoppers and croppers were both out in force enjoying the Expo. Several vendors sponsored "Make And Take" projects in their booths that were very popular. The scrapbookers that we spoke to were buying die Cuts, Custom lettered pen totes and magazine subscriptions.  

     Friday Night's Crop Party featured scrapbooking product give-always. The staff from PaperKuts Magazine and Scrapbooking.com judged a page layout contest for the croppers. Several lucky scrapbookers walked away with Crop In Style Totes, albums, punches, scissors and magazines. Croppers worked feverishly on their layouts until 11PM.
