Christmas Ornaments Layout Page

This is a great layout for an intro to a Christmas section in your album.  Try making unique ornaments with your snowflake punch.  This layout is made with the new Emagination Crafts snowflake punch.  It has a perfect circle in the middle.  You can create ball ornaments or more ornate ones depending on the look you want.

Supplies

  • Punches (Emagination Crafts, Marvy Uchida)

  • Adhesive (Sailor, Therm O Web)

Instructions

To create the ones on the swag, hold the snowflake so you have one point up and one down.  Cut off the two on either side.  You are now left with the ones pointing up and down.  Next, cut the first nodule off the tip pointing up.  The longest tip should point down.

Any leaf will work great for the swag.  I have used the Emagination Craft’s oak punch.  Alternate between light and dark green for the leaves.  A super jumbo star was used for the center (Marvy Uchida) with a snowflake (Emagination Crafts) in the middle to add dimension.

For the rest of the layout, the negative of the heritage corner punch was used on the matting of the photo.  This was done to balance out the light colors in the swag at the top of the layout.  For the small ornaments at the bottom of the matting, use the same snowflake punch but cut all of the spines off except one.  Cut this last spine off but leave one nodule.
