Tree Layout Page

Any snowflake punch will work great for a tree.  Don’t limit this tree just to Christmas trees.  Try making a couple of trees  in different hues and add mountains behind them for a scenic look.

Supplies

  • Punches (Marvy Uchida, Family Treasures, Fiskars)

  • Patterned paper (Keeping Memories Alive)

  • Title (The Art of Creative Lettering by Becky Higgins)

Instructions

For this layout, punch 15 medium light green snowflakes  and 8 dark green snowflakes.  Glue the light green snowflakes on to patterned paper in a triangle formation (5 on the bottom then four for the next row and then 3, etc.).  Randomly glue dark green snowflakes on top of triangle. Add jumbo star in yellow on top of tree.  Cut dark brown rectangle for trunk.  Add ¼” circles in dark blue and light blue on to tree.  Title is derived from The Art of Creative Lettering.
