Debbie's Dolls by Joyful Hearts
By Helen Naylor

Among our many “duties” at Scrapbooking.com, we get to go to numerous shows to preview new products that we might want to use on Scrapbooking.com. Last fall, at a rubber stamp show in Del Mar, CA., we came across some delightful paper doll stamps by Joyful Hearts called Debbie's Dolls. We promptly bought several of the sets, and took them home to play with. We have had quite a lot of fun, and are pleased to introduce you to their product.

Debbie's Dolls come with several different sets. There is the basic set which includes the doll body and the different hairstyle components.  The additional sets include “themed” clothing to dress the dolls in.

One of the fun things that separate these from other paper dolls is the detail. Instead of having to add the details with a pen, all you have to do is stamp and cut out. You can use an assortment of cardstock, solid and patterned. You can change the color of the doll and it’s hair. By stamping patterned paper, you can get a plaid shirt or a floral dress. You can use these stamps on fabric with fabric ink and
bring the exact fabric in a handmade outfit off the photo and onto your page. If you use an iron-on adhesive like Heat N Bond Lite on the wrong side, stamp on the right side and then trim around. You can then iron it on the paper.

These are good basic paper doll stamps with lots of adorable possibilities. You’ve just got to try them!
