Titles can add so much to
a page. Die cut letters do
a great job of getting the theme of your layout across.
The problem in the past is that you were stuck with the one die
cut letter style that your local store had.
Thus, you ended up with a lot of titles looking the same
throughout your scrapbook.
Help
has arrived. Little
Darlings has created nine different die cut fonts.
Each pack contains 130 letters of the alphabet.
They come on plain cardstock or patterned paper.
These letters are sure to add some zing to your layouts and give
you a change of pace with all of the different fonts they have
available.
Here
are a few hints to really spice up your letters.
First, try adding Rub-ons. These
are kind of like stickers but you place them face down on your page and
rub the backing with a Popsicle stick (Snow Boarder).
Another trick is to glue the letters down to a different color
cardstock and trim around each letter leaving an 1/8” edge (New
Years). For layouts that you don’t want to add too much
embellishing, shade the die cut letters with chalk or rub-on paint by
Craft-t (Beach Baby). Lastly,
make the title pop off your page by creating a banner.
This is great for letters cut in patterned paper.
It allows the letters to be seen through the pattern (Car Wash).
