taken from a gift wrapping idea in the December issue of Martha
Stewart Living.
Supplies
Instructions
Cut 6 strips, ¼”
by 11” of the dark plum. Cut
2 strips of the heather, 1/2” by 11”.
Cut 2 strips of the moiré, 1” by 11”.
Start at the top left hand corner.
Place 1 strip of the plum going down the side, with a little bit
of adhesive in the top. Follow
with a strip of plum across the top.
Next, do the heather strip down the side, weaving as you go,
followed by the heather across the top. Repeat the strips following the
pattern of the picture. I
slipped in the remaining piece of moiré after I finished the left-hand
side, before I finished the last 2 plum strips.
