Supplies

  • Mulberry paper
  • Cardstock (Paper Reflections)
  • Corner punch (Family Treasures)
  • Paper trimmer and scissors (12” Personal Paper Trimmer and Micro Tip Soft Grip, Fiskars)
  • Adhesive (Hermafix)
  • Pen (Zig Twin Tip, EK Success)

Instructions

Cut a random ripple border of black mulberry paper. Mount on a piece of sand colored cardstock, approximately Ύ” taller than black. Trim edge to be a randomly different ripple. Mount on the bottom of the page. Measure photo. Cut a piece of sand cardstock ½” larger on the top and one side edge. For a 5”X 7” photo, cut the cardstock 5 ½” X 7 ½”. Carefully insert corner of cardstock into punch, checking on the backside that it’s lined up correctly. (Practice this on scrap or damaged pieces of cardstock. It takes a little practice, but I love this punch because it allows you to slip your photos in without using any adhesive.) Mount on a piece of black mulberry paper about Ύ” to 1” bigger on all sides. Tear off excess. Mount on page and do journaling.
