Title Pages

Grandma's Summer Garden

A baby is born.  Your child gets married.  Grandma gets an award for the most beautiful garden of 1999 in her hometown.  There are times when you may want to create a special album for a special occasion.  But you don’t need a special occasion to make a new addition to the scrapbooking process.  If you don’t already, you may want to consider creating a title page.  And along with that consideration, think about including an ending, or dedication page.

A title page will give your scrapbook a little extra pizzazz.  It lets the viewer know what is to be expected when opening up your scrapbook for viewing.  It may also serve as a warning – CAUTION!  You may have to oh and ah over 50 plus pages of Baby Jess doing what babies do best in their first year…look cute!

It can also mark an event or project that requires a scrapbook all to its self, like a long vacation, the building of a house, summer camp, football season or a special anniversary party.

A dedication page is a perfect ending for the many hours you spend in creating a scrapbook.  You can include a picture of yourself, maybe at your scraping station.  Since the recorded history is such an important part of your scrapbook, take some time to draft the history of the individual scrapbook.    Don’t forget to include the major and minor events that have happened throughout the period of life included in that scrapbook.  The time you spend now will be treasured by generations to come.  Enjoy the moment and make it your own! Congratulations are in order!
