The Sailor rolling ball 2-in-1 glue pen is perfect for
gluing the tiniest of things- the
first time I used it I was hooked.
I do a lot of projects with punch pieces, especially the little
1/8” circle. The ball
point glue pen allows just enough glue so that when I place the circle
on my project, glue doesn’t squish out from underneath.
I really hate smudges on my layouts and since I have been using
this product, I haven’t had this problem.
If you use punches or die cuts in your designs, this glue pen is
a must.
Another
adhesive product that Sailor carries is the 2-in-1 Glue Marker.
This product has a thick, felt tip and can be used on larger
pieces like die cuts. My
favorite use for the Glue Marker is when I need to glue down strips or
border die cuts. First, I
get and old 12 x 12 sheet protector (you may need to “create” an old
sheet protector) and lay it on my table. I place the strip on top of the
sheet protector and run my Glue Marker down the length of the
strip or die cut. If there is any excess glue,
it stays on my “old” sheet protector and not on
my work table.
A “2-in-1”
adhesive can be used two ways.
If you put the glue on something and let it dry until the glue is
clear before you adhere
it to the second surface, it will become a temporary adhesive. It will be a little tacky and feel similar to a post memo
note. If you adhere the two
pieces of paper before the glue dries, it will have a permanent bond.
I recommend using the permanent method for papers that will be in
your scrapbook. Use the temporary method
only if you want something to be removable or you are "trying
out" a layout.
